A distinguished Empire-style flap table by Stockholm master cabinetmaker Daniel Sehfbom (1766–1837).
Crafted in mahogany veneer with an elegant central pedestal base featuring scrolled volute feet mounted on casters.
The extendable top accommodates varying needs, while a frieze drawer with gilded key plate adds refined detail.
Marked with Sehfbom's maker's label. Exemplary of early 19th-century Swedish craftsmanship, this piece reflects the grandeur and symmetry characteristic of the Empire period.
Daniel Sehfom was active as a master craftsman in Stockholm from approximately 1800 until his death in 1837. He officially became a master cabinetmaker in 1809.
Dimensions: approximately 74 cm H × 65 × 97 cm (extended to 150 cm). Renovated, supplemented, veneer damage, key absent.
