This planter is a compact, oblong flower container typical of the Art Nouveau period, crafted by the French manufacturer Orchies in the 1920s.
Made of majolica with a distinctive glaze blending blue and turquoise hues, the piece features the barbotine technique that enhances its vivid contrast. Its rectangular form has gently rounded corners and raised decorative details, reflecting the elegance characteristic of the era.
The jardiniere is in good vintage condition and bears the Orchies mark on its base. Height is 14cm and dimensions are 28,5cm x 12cm.
