Adolf Jelínek Alex was a prominent professional artist who studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague and the Academy in Munich. He later refined his graphic techniques under the legendary Max Švabinský at the Prague Fine Art Academy. His works are today held in prestigious international collections, including the National Gallery in Prague and the Albertina in Vienna.
